• To reinforce the sense of belonging towards the alma mater and spirit of fraternity among alumni by providing a common platform for social and intellectual interaction; and establishing channels for effective communication

  • To act as facilitator in expanding scope and reach of alumni network through regional associations and activities; thereby forging long term relationships amongst alumni and Institue

  • Promote growth of the Institute through industry interaction (visits, guest lectures, projects) for curriculum enrichment and mentoring by alumni to aid in the holistic development of students

  • To be the ambassadors of the College in the milieu in which they are, and to extend assistance in the research and development programs of the College

Alumni Interaction in ETC

An Alumni Interaction Session was organized by the Alumni Cell of the Institute for 2nd and 3rd year students of Electronics and Telecommunication Engg. Dept., on 30th January 2017. Mr. Amal Francis, a 2012 batch graduate, currently pursuing M.S. from California State University Long Beach, spoke at length briefing the audience about his journey right from his 1st year in this college to near completion of his MS studies in the US.


Interactive session on GATE and post graduate studies

Mr. Shirin Patil, an alumnus of 2013 batch of Mechanical Engg. Deptt. of the College interacted with 3rd and 4th Year students of the Department on 4th July, 2015. He recently completed M. Tech. in Thermal Engg. from IIT Madras and is currently pursuing Ph. D. from the same institute.


Interactive session on career in Automobile Industry

The final year students of Deptt. of Mechanical Engg. got the opportunity to interact with Mr. Ajinkya Patil, a 2012 batch alumnus of the College on 26th June, 2015. Mr. Ajinkya Patil, is currently working with FIAT Ltd. as CAE Engineer. An informal session was organised, during which Ajinkya shared his experiences of working with a major automobile company and guided the students aspiring to a career in the automotive industry.


Manan Dixit, Batch 2008, EE
After a stint at Tech Mahindra where he was placed through the College, he moved on to AmDocs and thereafter set out to chart his own course as an entrepreneur. He has co-founded two firms and is also the Managing Director of Umoja Electronics which is aiming to gain a foothold in the Indian electronics and smart devices market.
Halley Joseph, Batch 2008, ME
After a post graduate degree and a course in Industrial Design from Coventry University, UK, he joined automobile giant General Motors, where he worked as Senior Creative Digital Sculptor. Today, he is at the cutting edge of the auto industry, working with BMW in Barcelona, Spain.
Ketan Thakkar, Batch 2008, CE
After a post graduate degree from Bentley University, Massachusetts, USA, Ketan worked for Axceler as Software Engineer before moving on to join Microsoft as Software Development Engineer at its headquarters in Redmond, Washington.
Sarang Ramakrishnan, 2009 Batch, ME
An avid quizzer in his College days, Sarang completed his MS from North Carolina, USA before joining Cummins Technologies, where he presently works.
Pankaj Kumar, 2009 Batch, ME
An outstanding student throughout College life, he was placed in L&T MHI Turbine Generators Ltd. He has now moved on to the Tech Mahindra consulting business and is based in Noida.
Abhijeet Sawarkar, 2010 Batch, EE
He completed his MSc in Electrical Power Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany. Abhijeet is now working as a commissioning engineer for HVDC plants at Erlangen (Siemens), Germany.
Nitin Khandelwal, 2010 Batch, CE
Completed M. Tech. from IIIT Hyderabad and was the topper in his batch. He was awarded a gold medal for his exceptional performance and also awarded by the Home Minister of Telangana. He is presently working with Microsoft as Software Development Engineer in Hyderabad.
Anuj Shrigiriwar, 2011 Batch, EE
He earned his Masters in Electrical Engineering from US in 2013 and is presently working on Micro-grids with Renova Energy Corporation, Palm Desert California as an Energy Storage Manager. Anuj deals with photovoltaics and battery systems and is responsible for design, system installation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
Ishan Mukewar, 2011 Batch, IT
Completed M. Sc. In Enterprise systems from Sheffield Hallam University, UK and is now working with Syntel Inc. as a software engineer.
